Just plug the StenoCast X1-Lithium into your existing steno machine's serial port, plug the StenoCast USB Ez Receiver into your computer's USB port, and follow the simple, one-time installation instructions. It's compatible with all CAT software and is designed to work with Windows 98, 2000, XP & Vista. In the rare event that you get out of range, the StenoCastT X1-Lithium automatically reconnects when you come back in range, picking up where it left off.
