WITHOUT WIRES, YOUR COURTROOM WILL ACTUALLY BE MORE CONNECTED

The StenoCastT X7 attaches to the court reporter's computer and allows connection with up to 7 simultaneous realtime stations - the judge, attorneys, experts or parties to the action. All automatically encrypted and password-protected. Unsightly and potentially dangerous wires are gone, and the hassle of manually connecting all the parties is totally eliminated. It's the first major breakthrough in the court reporting industry since computer-aided transcription. And now that the new X7 is a USB device, we've eliminated yet another wire: No power cord is necessary. The X7 draws its power from the computer's USB port.

The X7 uses the latest Bluetooth® technology to connect with all court reporters' computers running any CAT software. Bluetooth® is the industry standard for dependable wireless connectivity. In short, you'll increase courtroom or deposition productivity, and decrease clutter.

Location. Location. Location.
The StenoCastT X7 transmits realtime transcripts up to 300 feet away, and allows the parties to receive the wireless feed without the clutter and inconvenience of cables on their desks, and the hassle of disconnecting and reconnecting with each relocate.

No wires. No complicated installation.
Once the Court Reporter plugs into the StenoCast X7 and the Attorneys and parties plug their Ez receivers into their computers, the wireless realtime system is in place. There are no Internet or Network connections to configure, no IT department headaches, and no software compatibility issues for the Court Reporter or Attorneys. The X7 is fully compatible with all versions of Windows Operating Systems, including Windows 3.1, 95 & 98, 2000, XP and Vista , as well as all versions of Litigation-Support software, including RealLegal's Binder, LiveNote, Transcript Manager Pro, Visionary and Summation. Yes, it's that universal, and that easy.

Enjoy the freedom.
Depend upon the security and the safety.
No, transcripts aren't flying around just waiting to be intercepted. Despite the wireless aspect, there is secure 128-bit encryption and authentication between the Court Reporter's computer and the Attorneys' computers. The transcripts are also password protected. You decide who does and who does not receive the realtime feed. And because there are no dangling serial cables for you or others to trip over, you'll feel secure from a liability standpoint, as well.

You'll also be connected to our support team.
Because we know how important your equipment is to you, all technical support is handled in-house by trained staff that know the products, as well as most litigation-support and Court Reporter software systems, inside and out. Despite the fact that Attorneys and Court Reporters may all be using different computer brands, running on different Operating Systems with different software versions, one call takes care of it all. We'll have you up and running in no time.
