StenoCast Warranties and Technical Support Options

All StenoCast products come with a one-year manufacturer's warranty against defects in manufacture. In other words, if our device fails to function as designed and not as a result of outside damage, we will repair or replace the component, at our option.

StenoCast also provides coverage under our StenoCare Program. In addition to the manufacturer's warranty, the StenoCare Program provides coverage against accidental damage due to drops, spills, power surges, etc. If a product is covered under the StenoCare Program, each component is entitled to a one-time replacement if accidentally broken. Lost or stolen components are specifically not covered.

The StenoCare Program is available for both the X1 ($59.95 - which is just $4.95/mo) and the X7 ($84.50 - which is just $6.95/mo).

The StenoCare Program should be initiated at the time the StenoCast products are purchased. However, you may add StenoCare to your StenoCast products after the date of purchase of your StenoCast products under the following conditions: (1) customer pays for StenoCare from the date of purchase of subject StenoCast product(s) to the initiation date of StenoCare; and (2) subject product(s) may not be submitted to StenoCast for repair/replacement until 30 days has elapsed from the initiation/purchase date of the StenoCare Program.

Subscribers and Purchasers who are enrolled in the StenoCare Program receive unlimited telephonic technical support Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time. An internet connection is useful in most cases. We can email you a support link. You simply click on this link to enable us to remotely access your computer and then assess and correct the issue on your computer.

Purchasers who have not enrolled in the StenoCare Program may receive telephonic technical support for 30 days from the date of purchase. Thereafter Purchasers may visit stenocast.com to view online videos and manuals or to download drivers.
