X1 Setup Instructions

To set up your X1-Lithium, follow these simple instructions:

• Attach the X1-Lithium to your steno machine and turn your steno machine, your computer and the X1-Lithium on.
• Plug the USB Ez Receiver into a USB port on your computer.
• You will most likely already have the needed driver already installed, so you will just need to go to Device Manager under the Ports section to determine what COM port the USB Serial Port driver is located. If the driver is not already installed, follow the instructions as outlined in the online manual.
• Proceed to your CAT software and input the COM port number of the USB Serial Port driver into the appropriate input settings of your CAT software.
• Start a realtime job as you normally would, but now you're wireless.
